TÁMARA C. WALTERS

My husband and colleagues call me Támara.  Family and friends call me Tammy.  My church family calls me Lady Tam.  While on field trips and volunteering at my kids’ school, I’m Mrs. Walters.  But my personal favorite is Mom.  I’m a happy combination of all 5!I’m a small business owner, 4 times over.  I’m a successful Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant.  I’m also the owner of an online bakery, Leilani Confections.  In addition, I’m the proud owner of CHYÉ Marie Designs, where I make and sell custom brooches and other fabulous accessories!  Lastly, I am over-the-moon about my newest business venture, Butter Me Up! Naturally, an all-natural skincare, haircare, and cosmetics line.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy indulging in my many exciting hobbies.  For one, I am a total bookworm.  Most of my free moments throughout the day are spent stealing away into the lives of the characters, letting my imagination run wild as I am able to paint my own picture of the world that they live in.  It is like being able to watch a movie in your own head while perceiving what is happening from your own point-of-view!  And it is from my love of reading that I began to enjoy writing more and more.  I realized that I wanted to become the creator of “mental cinematography” and that I wanted to invite others to view the amazing landscape that is my life story.

In the winter of 2019, I will officially be a published author of my first book, “Ms. Diagnosis”.  In this book, I wanted to share my journey through battling both cervical and ovarian cancers while living as a young wife and mother of small children.

The most exciting part of my life though is being a stay-at-home mom with three awesome kids!  I’m married to a wonderful man who is also a loving father, a multi-talented & gifted professional, and a God-fearing Pastor.  I’m most definitely one that is dedicated to my family and church family.  And because both my family and ministry take up a lot of my time, I grow to love the freedom and flexibility that comes along with being a “mompreneur” more and more every day!
